Delhi Metro Rail Corporation

 

Delhi Metro is a metro system serving Delhi and its satellite cities of Gurgaon, Noida, Faridabad and Ghaziabad in the National Capital Region of India. Delhi Metro is the world's thirteenth largest metro system in terms of length and a member of Nova Group of Metros. Delhi Metro is India's third urban mass rapid transport system, after the Kolkata Metro and Chennai MRTS. It is India's first modern rapid transit system too. As of December 2014, the network consists of five colour-coded lines (Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Violet), plus a sixth Airport Express line, with a total length of 193 kilometres (120 mi), serving 140 stations (with 6 more Airport Express stations). Rapid Metro Gurgaon

 

The Rapid Metro project is a network of 5.1 km connecting Cyber City, NH-8 & Sikanderpur station (DMRC) in Phase I. This will be extended to additional network of 7 km along Golf Course Road connecting Sector 55-56 to Delhi Metro at Sikanderpur in Phase II. The planned route for Rapid Metro will act as a feeder to the DMRC’s Jahangirpuri-Central Secretariat-HUDA City Centre (Yellow Line). Rapid Metro will be connected to DMRC in Phase I through a covered walkway interchange at the Sikanderpur station. An extension towards Udyog Vihar in north is proposed which will finally make the length of system almost 20 km.
